Nabq Nature Reserve: Quad Bike & Sand Sliding
Overview
Nabq Nature Reserve is a protected marine and desert reserve stretching 5 km along the Gulf of Aqaba — a nursery for fish, crustaceans and corals, and home to remarkable mangrove trees that grow straight out of salt water. Its mountains, valleys and dunes shelter gazelles, mountain goats, migrating birds and 134 plant species. This afternoon adventure combines a jeep safari and quad ride through the reserve with the pure fun of sand sliding down the dunes, and ends with a seafood-based Bedouin dinner and traditional show. You can also support the local Tarabin and Mazayna tribes by buying their beautiful handmade embroidery and beadwork.
